Background of Health & Vitality
Health & Vitality is a family practice and functional medicine clinic located in Orem, Utah. Founded in 2018 by Dr. Arlene Johnston, the clinic was born from a desire to serve patients who felt unheard, unsupported, or unable to find real solutions in traditional settings.
Dr. Johnston recognized that most functional medicine and wellness centers do not accept insurance, creating a barrier for many who need care.
At Health & Vitality, we’re changing that. We accept most major insurance plans and provide medically necessary care that treats the whole person, not just isolated symptoms.
Our approach blends functional medicine with evidence-based primary care. We look at how your body works together as a system: thyroid, gut health, hormones, adrenal function, blood sugar regulation, nutrition, sleep, lifestyle, emotional health, and stress management.
Instead of masking symptoms, we identify and address the root causes, helping your body heal, balance, and function at its best.
