Our Providers

Sandra graduated from Provo College with a certificate in Medical Assisting 13 years ago and has since started the nursing program at Provo College.  She lives in American Fork with her fiancée, two sons, and their dog. Sandra loves reading and spending time outdoors, she loves camping, hiking, and paddleboarding. 

Amanda is a Nationally Certified Medical Assistant and earned her degree from Stevens-Henager College in 2016. She lives in Orem with her 12 year old daughter and their 4 pound chihuahua. Amanda loves to spend time outdoors, a couple of her favorite things to do are camping and shooting. This year, Amanda and her daughter have tubed down the river, gone backpacking, and have challenged themselves on a ropes course. 

Melissa is part of our office support staff. She works behind the scenes to help our team thrive. 

Kaybree Johnson has been at Health & Vitality for over a year and has been a great addition to the Health & Vitality team. She is excited to keep learning and helping the patients at the clinic. If you have any questions about anything, Kaybree will happily help you find the answer!

Savannah is part of our office support staff. She helps with employee onboarding and payroll.  

Sarah is our office administrator and MA manager. She  keeps Health & Vitality running smoothly. Sarah has worked with Dr. Johnston off and on for over 7 years.  Once she started working for Dr Johnston she knew there was no place else she would rather work.  Sarah has 4 beautiful kids and a wonderful husband . She loves being a wife and mother. She loves spending time with her family, playing the violin and reading any and all health education books. Sarah knew from a young age she wanted to work in health care and help people identify the root causes of health challenges and overcome them.  Sarah says " I am incredibly grateful to work for such a great office where I can do that!"  

Karsen is one of the front desk receptionists. She's originally from Carmel, Indiana, but says she now lives in Provo with her amazing red-headed, nerdy genius of a husband while he finishes school. Karsen graduated from BYU-Idaho with her Associates degree and has been working ever since. She's always been interested in the medical field, but at heart is a musician—Karsen has been playing the cello for 15 years! Karsen says "I truly believe music is one of the most powerful forms of therapy and a universal language that connects people." Beyond music, she loves reading, writing, cooking and baking, playing video and board games with family and friends, doing Zumba, and giving out hugs! Jonathan has been a Health Coach/Nutritionist for the past 3 years helping people navigate IBS and chronic fatigue. He is passionate about nutrition and improving people's performance and quality of life. He is currently finishing up a degree in General Studies with an emphasis in exercise wellness with a minor in nutritional science. He loves hiking, skiing, playing games, spending time with his daughter and watching movies with his wife and their friends/family. 

Natalie has worked as a medical assistant for two years. She graduated from BYU with a degree in Public Health and Russian. Natalie loves working with patients and plans to attend medical school. Outside of work, she loves to relax, run, climb, and ski with her husband and friends.

Zoe is a licensed esthetician based in Orem, Utah. She is very passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin through personalized, results-driven treatments. Zoe values building real connections with her clients and strives to make every visit comfortable, informative, and effective. Outside of work, Zoe loves playing guitar, going to concerts, and hanging out with friends.

Jessica brings over 21 years of experience in the medical field and is excited to be part of the team at Health & Vitality. Originally from Huntington Beach, California, she relocated to Orem nine years ago and has loved calling it home ever since. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys spending quality time with her four children and two granddaughters.
